Artist Alexis Rhoades has always been captivated by the essence of "handmade." Following the success of her handmade jewelry venture, 43 Jewelry Co., she felt a desire to expand the 43 brand to artistic avenues beyond jewelry design.

This pursuit serves as a gateway for Alexis to share her original artwork, create personalized pieces for customers, and extend her offerings into "by-hand" business art services, encompassing interior and exterior art and design work.
Alexis loves to explore a diverse arsenal of techniques, such as pyrography, painting, woodworking, digital art, and more. 43 Handmade progresses forward, embracing a spectrum of limitless possibilities where creativity knows no bounds.

Hi there!
I’m Alexis, a Meadville-based artist, small business owner of 43 Handmade and 43 Jewelry Co., and experienced Digital Marketing Professional.
Growing up, I was always an “Art Kid”—totally obsessed and immersed in whatever art project I could get my paws on. Fast forward to the present day, and I still lead with this same spirit.
A desire to exercise my creativity and exploring new skills has always been rooted deep in my bones. I truly feel as though my purpose is best realized while creating.
When I’m not burning wood or making jewelry, you can usually find me supporting local businesses and farmers’ markets, practicing mindfulness and movement, enjoying the outdoors, drinking entirely too much coffee, and spending time with my wonderful fiancé, Joey.
